We host events for those tackling humanity's most difficult technical challenges

Our Purpose

Foundation is more than an event—it's a movement of technical builders obsessed with solving humanity's hardest problems.

Read Our Manifesto

Our First Event: The Start Of Something Unique

In March 2024, we hosted an unforgettable gathering on a Texas ranch, bringing together over 200 hardcore builders for a mix of brilliance and chaos. No fluff, no posers—just raw tech, wild ideas, and plenty of Texas BBQ. Here's what happened.

Vintage aircraft and excavators demonstration
CAT excavator crushing a vehicle
Robotic demonstration with quadruped robot
Evening gathering by the pool
Night demonstration with CAT equipment
Attendees gathered at the venue
Technical demonstration setup in hangar with mounted system
Vintage Navy Stearman aircraft in hangar
Night demonstration with silhouetted attendees
Sunset gathering of attendees at the venue
Group of attendees with off-road vehicles
Attendee working on laptop during golden hour

The Takeaway

It was a beautiful mess of genius, grit, and questionable decisions. We walked away with fried circuits, new collaborations, and a tight-knit community of builders who get it.

And now? We're scaling the chaos. Buckle up for round two.

Our Next Event: Scaling The Beautiful Chaos

Cracked Tech, Cracked Minds, Total Bedlam

Our first event was a glorious mess of brilliance and barely controlled mayhem. This one? We're dialing it to 11.

Event Details

March 8th, 2025
1300 CST until your brain begs for mercy
[REDACTED] facility between Austin & San Antonio

What's Going Down

Rocket engines static-firing like they're auditioning for Armageddon.
Prototype aircraft pulling stunts that'd make Bernoulli blush.
Robot tanks plowing through fire, mocking your Roomba.
Materials testing—carbon composites and alloys screaming for mercy under stress.
[REDACTED] demos too insane for OSHA's delicate sensibilities.
Autonomous systems running wild—beautiful, chaotic, and slightly unhinged.
Debates that start with "your Kalman filter's trash" and end with whiteboard markers as weapons.

No fluff. No slides. Just tech so hot it'll leave scorch marks on your soul.

Why This Matters

Because the world's clogged with "prompt engineers" who think "git push" is a flex. This is where the real ones—builders who weld, code, and theorize in their sleep—smash ideas together until sparks fly. You'll leave bruised, inspired, and possibly muttering about quaternions.

The Proving Ground

A 1,000+ acre ranch south of Austin, morphed into a hard-tech Colosseum.
Texas BBQ, because even geniuses need fuel.
A bonfire big enough to signal Mars, paired with arguments about orbital mechanics.
Off-road tours of the blast zones—mud, dust, and glory.
Parking for your Tesla and your F-150.
Shuttles from Austin (limited capacity)
Location: Classified. Accepted? You'll get the lat-long. Rejected? Enjoy the mystery.

Fair Warnings

"Blockchain for pets" vibes? You'll be a laughingstock.
"Technical" means "I retweeted Musk"? Sit this out.
Explosions aplenty. "Clear the range" means move.

for Austin tech people: I'll be at @foundation_atx tonight with one of my quadrupeds, come say hi! 😎🤖

@WilliGreenfield

@ethanblagg these photos are great! I built the hardware on those machines, cool if I use these pics on my social accounts?

@rnvmbr

Just registered. I'm trying to find my people 😊

@TheLeonBurda

@DannyEarns should we partner with him to host the same thing next year but make it 10x bigger?

@DannyRansom

@TheLeonBurda you heard the man. Let's set it up.

@suffiyannmalikk

LFG

@jonwerthen

Looking forward to it

@ThaaatColin

I rsvp'd yes... so you might want to bump that bbq up to 250lbs

@radtechnews

200lbs of BBQ! Lets go

@griswold

I can't debug a quantum circuit or fabricate a tokamak or optimize robot kinematics... but I *can* tell you that 0.5 pounds of BBQ per person is woefully insufficient

@wedtm

I'm going to be blowing shit up the Texas way with some of best builders in the space. Can't wait!

@MotivateIntent

Dang this looks 🔥

@ITSNOTGOGGLES

woah this is cool! i wanna go!
